Columbus Residence

I have recently made a deal with Structure Properties building in San Francisco, Columbus Ave 112. The manager, Lee, was always very kind and ready to accommodate any needs. Even when I had problems continuing the stay due to reasons of force majeure, Lee showed extreme empathy and understanding in closing the contract, granting me a refund beyond all expectations, and conducting the entire transaction with extreme speed and professionalism, continuously keeping me updated on the status of the process. I also greatly appreciated the fact that Lee contacted me to share with me his sorrow for what had happened to me, making me feel part of a family rather than a cold room rental contract. I don't know if and when I will return to San Francisco, but I know that by contacting Lee I will be able to count on the help of a friend for a second home. Thanks again Lee, hope to see you again soon!

Great location! Very friendly and helpful staff. I was told that aside from the hotel stays, it's mostly student housing. Quiet and clean! Only downsides are small rooms and shared bathrooms/showers. They are individual, private, locking bathrooms/showers, though! No walking in on naked people involved.

I can't recommend Structure Properties highly enough! They have been absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. The property manager Carson, consistently provides a fast response to any issues or questions, making the entire process stress-free and efficient. Whether it's handling maintenance requests or addressing tenant concerns, their professionalism and dedication stand out.

My first experience living solo in San Francisco and of all the places I viewed, I instantly fell in love with Columbus Residence. The location is perfect, right off of North Beach, Jackson Square, FiDi and Chinatown. You can get anywhere in the city by walking or public transport. The nightlife is great with restaurants, bars, entertainment, clubs, etc. There is always something to do! You feel right at home and well taken care of when you meet Jesse, the property manager. He goes above and beyond for all his tenants. His communication is stellar, he's on top of any issues or challenges that you have weather in the room or common spaces, he always has a smile on his face and is readily available via text or sometimes you'll see him in the hallways. Jesse and Omar are lovely people who will take care of you first. Since this is a shared space, all common areas including the kitchen, bathrooms, showers are all kept clean by the amazing housekeeping crew. The rooms are cozy, but it's all you really need for a comfortable stay. All tenants here are friendly, I barely here noise from my neighbors, and it feels safe inside and out. You won't be disappointed in your stay at the Columbus.

Positive: -The place is near all amenities (groceries, gym, bus, metro). -It’s in the middle of the city, near all San Francisco attractions. You can walk mostly to everywhere. -There is a cleaning service every day so the place is clean. - The neighbourhood is safe. -The manager of the place (Lee) is very friendly and professional. Negative: -The room I have is a bit small. -The place seems a bit old (but clean) My conclusion: It’s a good choice

How does the saying go: "Location, Location, Location..." This is a Fine Property for the independent and savvy solo traveller. Refurbished in approximatley 2012, the "charm" of this old 90-room San Francisco residence inn is not to be understated--this place feels like it is straight out of Barbary Coast days! But with all of the modern and amenities and renovations one would come to expect. Jessie (the property manager) is a pleasure to work with: he is responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and flexible. His assistant, Omar, as well as the rest of the staff are all very considerate and friendly. The room sizes are very small--know that going into it--but they are clean and well appointed and the shared kitchen and numeorus seperate men's and women's bathrooms and showers are all well kept and very clean. Laundry facilities are on site and a small lounge and TV area sit at the bottom of the 4 story building. Walk outside and look up to see the Transamerica Pyramid greeting you as well as the Omni Zoetrope building accross the street (Francis Ford Coppola's old building). Chinatown is 1 block over and Northbeach is just up the street. One can sit at the Trieste Cafe and feel Jack Kerouac writing On the Road. This is a very nice place for someone who wants to be in the Heart of San Francisco while not spending an arm and a leg on the pricier properties.

Lived here for almost 2 years. I say it was perfect place for me to live in. A private room, Desk, Chair, own TV though I never watched it. It has common Kitchen with cookwares, utensils & dishwasher. House keeping cleans your room weekly and toilets are cleaned daily. There is also a living area where you can watch TV with friends. And a laundry area. I cooked two times a day and 5 days a week. Sometimes it crowded so just try to go in off peak hours and it will be perfect. Staff is so good and friendly they are still my friends. A safe place next to North Beach what else one want. Enjoy!!

He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable and on top of everything happening in the community, but he’s also a joy to work with—bubbly, fun, and always easy to talk to.
